Book: Under the Date Palm

Some are required to endure much suffering for their faith. Regardless of their beliefs, not all people will accept them. Whether it be from culture and traditions or laws of one’s country, freedom is not experienced by all to believe in what they want without consequences. Should one be forced to worship something they don’t believe in? Should one not be given the openness to examine all that is said to be truth? How difficult it is for one who grows up in a theocratic society to pursue any other kind of belief system without sacrificing their family, country, and everything they’ve ever known. Would you be willing to receive such consequences in your country for your faith? I have come to find that suffering for what you believe in reveals the heart of an individual.

  6. Looking forward to reading under the date palm. God reveals himself through His people, i find it interesting that we are all unique and not one of us has the same DNA but we all have “Him in Us” Thank you GC for writing what God put in your heart on paper, so we all can read and get a better understanding of our creator. Not all will receive the message but it’s ok, continue to be obedient to our Lord and Savior!

    1. Thanks Joyce! It is true that God reveals himself through His people and it may be as simple as just a spoken word to someone when they were seeking an answer. I think we all are encouraged by those who walk in obedience regardless of their sufferings.
